Welcome to Bridestrades LLC. This Shipping Policy explains how shipping is handled through the Bridestrades website, applications, and related services (collectively, the “Services”), operated by Bridestrades LLC (“Bridestrades“, “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By creating an account, listing an item, purchasing an item, or otherwise using the Services, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this Shipping Policy.
1. Marketplace Shipping Overview
Bridestrades is a peer-to-peer marketplace. Items are shipped directly from Sellers to Buyers.
Bridestrades facilitates shipping by providing standardized shipping options and, where applicable, prepaid shipping labels. Bridestrades LLC does not take possession of items listed or sold on the platform.
Sellers remain responsible for packaging, shipment, and timely fulfillment of their orders.
2. Shipping Costs
Shipping fees are displayed clearly at checkout before purchase.
Bridestrades currently offers flat-rate tracked shipping within the United States. Shipping is typically charged per seller shipment. If multiple items are purchased from different Sellers, separate shipping fees may apply.
While Bridestrades aims to price shipping fairly based on average carrier costs, actual carrier rates may occasionally vary.
3. Shipping Process
After an order is placed and payment is confirmed:
- A shipping label may be generated through Bridestrades’ shipping system.
- The Seller receives shipping instructions and label access via email.
- The Seller is responsible for printing the label, packaging the item securely, and delivering the package to the carrier.
- Tracking information may be provided through the platform, via email, or directly by the Seller depending on system functionality.
Buyers are encouraged to monitor order updates and carrier tracking once shipment has been confirmed.
4. Seller Shipping Responsibilities
Sellers agree to:
- Ship items within three (3) to five (5) business days of purchase.
- Use the provided shipping label or approved shipping method when applicable.
- Package items securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Provide tracking details when available.
If an item is not shipped within the expected timeframe:
- Reminder notifications may be issued.
- Buyers may contact Bridestrades support.
- Orders may be subject to cancellation or administrative review where appropriate.
Repeated failure to ship promptly may result in account action.
5. Packaging Requirements
Bridestrades does not provide packaging materials.
Sellers are responsible for safely packaging items before shipment. Acceptable packaging may include:
- Clean poly mailers
- Garment bags placed inside protective mailers
- Shoe boxes
- Recycled shipping boxes in good condition
Sellers should ensure they have appropriate packaging available prior to listing items for sale.
6. Tracking & Delivery Updates
Tracking availability may vary depending on shipping workflow and carrier processing.
Tracking details may be:
- Added to the order within the platform,
- Sent via email, or
- Shared directly by the Seller.
Carrier tracking typically begins once the package has been scanned by the shipping provider.
7. Multiple Seller Orders
When purchasing items from multiple Sellers:
- Items may ship separately.
- Each Seller fulfills their own shipment.
- Separate shipping charges and tracking information may apply.
Bridestrades does not guarantee consolidated shipping across Sellers.
8. Shipping Delays
Bridestrades is not responsible for delays caused by:
- Carrier service interruptions
- Weather conditions
- Incorrect shipping information provided by Buyers
- Holidays or peak shipping periods
- Circumstances beyond our control
We will assist in investigating shipping issues where appropriate.
9. Lost, Delayed, or Damaged Packages
If a package appears lost, delayed, or arrives damaged:
- Buyers should contact Bridestrades promptly.
- Supporting documentation (photos, tracking info, etc.) may be required.
- Bridestrades may work with the Seller and carrier to investigate.
Resolutions may include refunds, replacements, or other remedies in accordance with our Refund Policy.
10. Shipping Locations
At this time, Bridestrades supports shipping within the United States only unless otherwise specified.
International shipping may be introduced in the future.
11. Policy Updates
Bridestrades LLC reserves the right to modify this Shipping Policy at any time. Updates will be posted with a revised effective date.
Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of any updates.
