Built by sisters who couldn’t say no to another “Will you be my bridesmaid?”
We’re Brooke and Hallie: sisters by birth, bridesmaids by… apparently everyone’s choice. After standing up in more weddings than we can count, we noticed a pattern: gorgeous dresses worn once and then forgotten. That’s when the idea for Bridestrades came to life — a way to give those dresses a second chance while helping bridesmaids across the country save money, share styles, and make the most of their investment!
Where It All Started
Hallie has been a bridesmaid more times than she can count. And when Brooke got married, it brought even more beautiful dresses into the mix — courtesy of her bridal party.
For years, we’d dreamed of starting something together. One day, after being asked to join yet another wedding party, it clicked: what if we built a place just for bridesmaids to buy and sell their dresses? Bridestrades became our answer!

Meet Brooke
Nine bridesmaid dresses later (and counting), Brooke has officially graduated from ‘always the bridesmaid’ to ‘finally the bride.’ She knows firsthand the cost and the closet space that comes with saying yes to every wedding.
Meet Hallie
Hallie has stood in enough weddings to know how quickly the ‘one and done’ dresses add up. Combining that experience with her marketing background, she helped create Bridestrades: a straightforward way to buy and sell bridesmaid dresses without the usual hassle.

To give every bridesmaid dress a second story. We believe these gowns deserve more than one night in the spotlight, and every bridesmaid deserves an easier, more affordable way to celebrate the people they love.
